About S. Loyd Neal

Licensed to practice law in 1987, Loyd became Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Litigation in 1999. He has represented hundreds of clients in state and federal courts throughout the State of Texas. Loyd is an expert at evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of cases, and is an effective communicator. He is known for his ability to distill complicated legal issues and fact patterns into understandable presentations in court. He is especially adept at presenting his clients’ claims and defenses in a logical and credible manner in the courtroom. Because of his unique abilities and years of experience, Loyd is frequently retained by other attorneys to help them try difficult cases. Loyd brings a professional and thorough approach to the practice of law. He combines a conscientious attitude with creativity and a tireless work ethic to give clients “winning” legal representation in litigation, arbitration, and appellate matters. Drawing upon his litigation experiences, Loyd also counsels and advises clients on risk avoidance and matters relating to the formation and operation of their businesses. He also negotiates, drafts, and reviews contracts and other documents on behalf of his business and individual clients.

Loyd is an active member of his church and participates in numerous civic and community organizations and activities. An avid sports enthusiast, Loyd coached youth basketball, baseball and football teams for over 20 years, and served on the board of a large youth sports association in the North Houston area for 5 years. While he has many hobbies and interests, Loyd’s favorite recreational activities involve supporting Texas Aggie football, basketball, and baseball teams in their never ending quest for an elusive national championship.
